Six seniors departed the Knoxville Softball Program after the Panthers lost to Dallas Center-Grimes in the regional semi-final earlier this month. Carrie Chambers, Delaynne South, Emily Wallace, Ricki Hall, Ally Vanderhart, and Steph VandeKamp all depart the program as what Coach Steph Christner tells KNIA/KRLS were some of the most enjoyable players to have…because of their charisma and their leadership. Christner adds their leadership will be hard to replace. She is also proud of the fact that many of the girls are going on to play softball in college.
