The Melcher-Dallas Baseball Squad will look to the class 1A District on Saturday and the Saints opening round game with Iowa Christian. The Saints currently 4-16 on the season. While four wins would not signal a very good season…Coach Pat Ferguson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports four wins is great progress compared to where the program was two years ago…with no team and zero wins last year in the first season of the program’s restart. One of the Saints wins this season was against their district opponent Iowa Christian. Ferguson tells KNIA/KRLS his guys are confident they can win and advance. The game is Saturday at seven at Iowa Christian.
