26 wins so far into the season, the Pleasantville Trojan Baseball Team knows what it is going to get offensively from three of the seniors on the team.
Last season Zeb Adreon hit .551 on the season only striking out three times the entire season, but it is the improvement of seniors Brock Busick and Ethan Worthington that has continued the Trojans success from last season. Busick hit only .204 last season, and he told KNIA/KRLS Sports that his success at the plate has a lot to do with taking the pressure off himself this season. Worthington on the other hand in limited action last year hit only .214, but since being installed as the team’s starting left fielder has exploded to a .357 average. The trio of seniors will have their abilities tested on Saturday night in the district final against Centerville. First pitch is scheduled for 7pm against the Big Reds in Albia.
