The Knoxville Softball Squad got a measure of revenge over Chariton last night as the Panthers pounded the Chargers 8-3. The night was highlighted by a Lucy Olson grand slam. The usual cast of characters also excelled at the plate, as Ricki Hall went 2/4 with a double and a triple, Anna Sanderson went 2/3, and Carrie Chambers was 3/4. Delaynne South was able to get the win going the distance scattering seven hits with four walks and two strikeouts. Knoxville is now 11-14 on the season and 5-6 in the South Central Conference, the Panthers finish up conference play at home tonight against Davis County.
