In Monday’s Knoxville Early Bird Cross Country Meet…the boys scored an early season win in the quad meet. What made Coach Michael Splavec the happiest was his two seniors were not only one/two in the team standings, but were one/two in the entire meet. Splavec knew going into the season that Cade McNeill would be the lead runner…but he was hoping his other senior Jack McDonald would be right behind McNeill. After the first meet the two seniors came through. Splavec adds as the season goes on the freshmen will get better and lower their times. The next chance for Knoxville to run will be September third at the Pella Meet at Central College.
