Defenses that have Pella Christian on their football schedules this fall be warned–Kac is back.
David Kacmarynski–unquestionably the best quarterback and perhaps player in Class 1A football, is 100% after offseason knee surgery, according to head coach Rich Kacmarynski.
“I’m really proud of David and how hard and how diligent he was with his rehab,” he says. “He’s made a lot of progress, he’s been looking very, very good, and he’s been fully cleared by his trainer and also the orthopedic surgeon that did the surgery.”
Despite playing through the knee injury for most of 2015, the senior David remained one of the best passers in Iowa High School Football. He was top five in passing touchdowns, yards, and yards per attempt among all classes after throwing for 2878 yards and 31 scores.
Pella Christian is bringing back 18 of their 22 starters from last season, and have rivals PCM circled for their week one game on August 26th.
