The Knoxville Cross Country Program is getting ready for the 2016 season. The Panther girls while not having a lot in numbers, should have a solid team…while the boys will have two seniors leading the way. Coach Michael Splavec tells KNIA/KRLS Sports his seniors are already taking the lead in preseason workouts. The girls are coming off a conference championship while the boys finished a close third to Davis County and Chariton last year. Splavec says postseason goals are still being evaluated and hopes the runners develop into a solid unit as the season goes by. The Panthers will host a quad meet on August 22nd to begin the season.
