A Knoxville man was arrested for alleged sex abuse in the third degree on Tuesday.
Knoxville officers were dispatched to a home on West Douglas on a report of assault. An adult female told officers Asa Ruben South had sexually assaulted her. South was located in the residence. The victim was transported to the Knoxville Hospital and Clinics. South was transported to the Marion County Jail. Lieutenant Aaron Fuller tells KNIA/KRLS News the investigation is on-going. South is charged with sex abuse in the third degree, a class C felony.
