The Knoxville School Board met in regular session Monday.
The board heard an update on the progress of the West Elementary project and discussed board goals for the coming school year. Two goals were selected: focusing on reading comprehension and developing a pathway from education to workforce and college readiness for high school students. Superintendent Cassi Pearson says the progress on those goals will be reported back to the board as the year progresses. The more about the goals listen to today’s Let’s Talk Knoxville.
