Every year, no matter how productive the running backs are, the Knoxville Football Program always seems to have one or two good running backs every season, even when the Panthers have to restock the shelves. After losing Connor Bailey and D.J. Snyder, who combined for 2,080 of the Panthers 2,465 yards on the ground last season. Coach Eric Kellar tells KNIA/KRLS Sports while young the running back corps will be experienced. Kellar says that is one area that he has been impressed with in preseason. Knoxville was third in the district last season which was class 3A district seven. Knoxville will open its season August 26th at home against Chariton. Fans can get a preview of the Panthers this Friday at Ken Locke Stadium with a scrimmage against Pella Christian.
