The PCM Cross Country team gets things going this week as their first meet of the fall season is this Thursday.
The Mustang squad looks to have a strong season with runners like Chris Ellens, Rachel Stafford, and Jayci Vos leading the way with new addition Kirstin Ives looking to contribute as well. With the long jogs during the summer and trips up Ralph Hill these first few weeks in practice, Coach Eric Karrs squad looks to give their best effort on Thursday and hopes for as many medal winners as possible. The Mustangs get things going at the Gilbert Meet in Ames at the Iowa State Cross Country Course in Ames with the girls running first at 4:45pm and boys running at 6pm. The award ceremony will follow at 7pm with medals presented to the top 15 runners.
