PCM Head Coach Eric Karr’s 2016 Cross Country team started practice this past Monday.
With the start of the new fall cross country season less than 3 weeks away Coach Karr’s task of molding his returning runners with his new ones needs to be a quick transition to get this team ready for their first meet August 25th in Ames. For Coach Karr its more about learning about his new runners and their capabilities. For his returning runners it’s about pushing them to give their all in every practice to set the example for all his new runners. Luckily for Coach Karr, he keeps a good track of the runners that do come out for him throughout the school year and other sports seasons so pushing his returners to set a good example should be so hard. But for the new runners out for Coach Karr, they will find even when the cross country season ends Coach Karr will be following their high school careers.
