Two freshman contributors on this year’s PCM Mustang Baseball Team send a big message to all Mustang Baseball supporters, good things are on the way.
The squad says goodbye to four seniors which will be missed, but it is the young talent that the Mustangs can rely on to bring their team to greater heights in the upcoming seasons. Brayton Van Dyke and Preston Van Wyk both played significant innings in their first year of high school baseball, and both contributed at the varsity level. Van Dyke batted .292 with 15 walks and only 13 strikeouts, while Van Wyk batted .277 and swiped 10 bases. Among others returning to the team next season with a large amount of varsity experience, the pair of freshman signal to the fans that PCM baseball is on the upswing.
