Daryn Pittman may run a World of Outlaws schedule, but it was the National Sprint League that was the sanctioning body at the 21st Front Row Challenge last night at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa and he took home the $21,000 winner’s share beating the field by over four seconds. The race got off to a clunky start with several red and yellow flag periods. Kerry Madsen was second with Brian Brown getting his second podium in as many nights while Brad Sweet and Danny Lasoski completed the top five. Before the A-Main last night, there was a tribute to the late Bryan Clauson, who died of injuries suffered in a racing crash over the weekend. His Matt Wood Racing #17W paced the field as they went to their four-wide salute. Southern Iowa Sprint Week will take tonight off in preparation of the 56th Annual 5 Hour Energy Knoxville Nationals which begin on Wednesday.
