The Pleasantville Volleyball took to the court again Tuesday night at home against East Union.
The Trojans came into the match up Tuesday still looking for their first win of the season but showing signs of improvement from a year ago. Head Coach Jennifer Douma’s squad fell in their first game of the season against Chariton in three sets but showed improvement in the last two sets to build on for Tuesday nights matchup against East Union. Unfortunately for the Trojans, East Union would come into the Pleasantville gym and win in three straight sets 16-25, 8-25, and 16-25. The first win of the 2016 season will have to be put on hold at least for another week, as Coach Douma’s squad will have to refocus and get ready to face Martensdale-St Marys at home on September 6th.
