After a rough season pickup up only two wins, the Pleasantville Volleyball team will have a new coach and plenty of returning talent to try and build up the program back to its winning ways.
Corinne Thomas and Kylee Van Haalen are both incoming juniors that led the team in sets with 68 and 67 respectively, but it is the “Kill” stats where the Trojans will need to improve. Avari Heinz-Penz was the overwhelming team leader in kills 100, with Bailey Oliva in second with 51, the problem is that those two have graduated and the next in line for Kills is Thomas with 41. In fact, the combined returning amount of Kills for the entire Trojans squad is 105. Opportunities for the Trojans will be there with the number of sets and quality serve percentages that they bring back to the squad, but it will be securing points where the Trojans have the most work.
