An overall good performance by the Knoxville Cross Country Squads at the Early Bird Invitational last night at Pine Knolls Golf Course in Knoxville. The girls, while third of three teams behind Norwalk and Fairfield, were led by Lucy Olson’s 11th place finish. The boys were led by Cade McNeill in first and Jack McDonald in second won with 24 points. Coach Michael Splavec told KNIA/KRLS it was an overall good performance by both teams. The Panthers will have some time off before their next meet which is September third at the Central College High School Invitational.
