Shane Stewart has a winning streak at the Knoxville Raceway. He won Sunday’s Capitani Classic and now he has put himself in contention to win the Knoxville Nationals as he took night one of the Five Hour Energy Knoxville Nationals staving off a charge by Donny Schatz. Jeff Swindell took the lead from the start and held it until lap nine when Stewart took charge. After a couple of sliders by Schatz, Stewart was out in front and won by over a second.
