Despite being just 2-8, the PCM Volleyball team has shown a lot of positives as they go through their early season tournaments to prepare for a tough Heart of Iowa Conference Schedule.
The Lady Mustangs got to see some of the top teams from around the area coming from much bigger schools such as DCG and Des Moines Roosevelt, but also got to claim some wins from Nodaway Valley and Perry. Katie Vande Wall is still the all-around leader for the team statistics wise, leading the team kills, sets, kills per set and second in serves but the entire PCM team is very well rounded. The 2-8 Mustangs will have one more tournament this Saturday at BCLUW which includes Aplington-Parkersburg, Benton, North Polk and South Tama before starting their conference schedule on Tuesday in a triangular at Saydel along with North Polk.
