The 2016 Trojans are in their second week of practice for the upcoming fall volleyball season and with their first match less than two weeks away the Trojans look to start their rebuilding effort on the road.
The Trojans led by first year head coach Jennifer Douma and a handful of returning players look to add to the win total from a team that wasn’t as successful as the Trojans would have hoped last season. With the 2015 Trojans only winning 2 matches a year ago the rebuilding effort is already a large task. Add in a 2016 schedule that sees the Trojans with no home matches during the whole month of September the rebuilding effort for head coach Jennifer Douma is a daunting task in her first year at the helm. The Trojans get going August 25th at Chariton before returning home for East Union, then back on the road against; Coon Rapids-Bayard, Nodaway Valley, Interstate 35 and Nodaway Valley again. The Trojans will finally be back home October 13th against Clarke.
