The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum will dedicate a statue of National Sprint Car Hall of Fame inductee and two-time Knoxville Nationals-winning sprint car owner/mechanic Bob Trostle, who also competed in the first ever Knoxville Nationals in 1961 today at the museum.
Trostle competed in a majority of the Nationals and personally witnessed all of them until he passed away this past November. The statue will sit in the Trostle Garage in the museum between his two Knoxville Nationals-winning cars. Bob’s widow Dorotha and daughters Jeane and Judy will both be in attendance.
