The story of the Shootout at the OK Corral may have been played out in Wayland last night as Twin Cedars won a wild one over WACO 66-56. The Sabers jumped out to a 46-23 lead at the half, but the thing that Twin Cedars did not need to have happen reared its ugly head during the game, and that was injuries as two guys went down. Coach Aaron Allspach told KNIA/KRLS Sports that the key play may have been a 40 yard punt return for a touchdown late in the game to get the margin back to ten points. The Sabers are one-and-oh and will play their home opener next Friday against English Valleys.
