The PCM Mustangs are back home for homecoming after being on the road the past two weeks.
The Mustangs flying high at the top of the district look to keep the winning going as they take on the winless Chargers of Chariton. The Chargers coming in after a 48-0 thumping from Centerville will try to slow down the machine that has become the PCM Mustangs. The Mustangs powered by their offensive triplets of Quarterback Sheldon Spears, Wide Receiver Luke Greiner and Running Back Wes Cummings look to add more points to the scoreboard for an offense that has been averaging 50 points per game through the past three games. While the offense is putting up points the defense lead by Senior Ethan Thomas has been nothing but dominate only allowing six points in the past three games. With such dominating performances in district play it’s no surprise the Mustangs are the front runners for district champions. With homecoming this week, one major concern for any coach during homecoming is all the distractions throughout the week that can possibly lead to loss of focus for the game on Friday. One thing Head Coach Greg Bonnett is proud of, is how his team has kept their focus during such a distracting week. The Mustangs and Chargers will get things going at 7 pm with pregame and 7:30 for kick off.
