The Central College men’s golf team finished 9th out of 32 teams at the Midwest Classic that was contested Saturday and Sunday in Galena, Illinois.
The Dutch shot a first round 316, then cut 10 strokes off of that number in round two to finish at 622. Iowa Conference rival Luther took home the trophy at 609.
Individually, senior Kacie Broeg led the way for the Dutch with a 76-71 for a two round total of three over par 147, good for sixth place.
Central will be back in action starting this Saturday at the 54-hole Twin Cities Classic in Minnesota.
