A Knoxville man has been arrested on three felony charges after allegedly stealing from his employer.
According to court documents, a Knoxville officer was called to the Knoxville 66 service station on August 25. The owner informed them Eric Alan Parker had admitted in a written statement to taking money from the register and other items at the end of his shift. The statement said he took an average of $250 to $300 for the past few weeks. After he had been Mirandized, Parker told the officer he estimated he had taken about $2,000 over the past eight weeks of employment. Parker is charged with theft in the second degree, money laundering and ongoing criminal conduct.
