The 2016 Iowa PGA Junior Players of The Year has been announced and a Knoxville golfer is among the winners. Evan Smith is the Iowa PGA Junior Golfer of the Year in the 11 and under division. Smith never finished out of the top five in any of his tournaments this summer with 12 first place showings. Smith won at the Junior Tour Classic, the Iowa P-G-A Junior Championship, The Eastern Iowa Junior, and the Team Junior and Stroke Play in Ankeny. Smith will be honored at the All-Star Pro Golf Awards Luncheon at the Riverside Casino and Gold Resort in Riverside October 25th.
