Three area cross country squads ran in the Oskaloosa Invitational yesterday. On what was described as a gorgeous night for running, the Knoxville girls finished in seventh place led by Mickayla McGill’s 22nd place finish. Pella Christian and Twin Cedars did not have enough runners to get a team score however Annaliese Admiraal led the Eagles with a 37th place finish. The Sabers were led over the line by Kelli Spaur in 72nd place. On the boys side, Knoxville lead all Marion County teams with an eight place finish…just five points out of the top five. The Panthers were led by Jack McDonald’s 22nd place finish. Pella Christian was tenth as a team however Grant Dunsbergen led all area runners with a sixth place finish. Twin Cedars placed 13th with Hunter Swope placing 53rd.
