District play starts for our local eight-man teams tonight. Twin Cedars looks to set the tone for district play against Moravia. The Sabers are averaging 63 points per game winning non-district contests over WACO and English Valleys. Coach Aaron Allspach tells KNIA/KRLS Sports Moravia will provide quite a challenge to the defense. Melcher-Dallas, meanwhile will travel to Tri-County tonight. The Saints lost to Murray last week and hope to get the district season started right against a Tri-County team, while playing already its fourth game…has lost big the last two weeks by a combined 144-12 to Lone Tree and WACO. The Saints stand at 1-1 on the season.
