Billy Moyer led from start to finish of the first night of the 13th Annual Lucas Oil Late Model Nationals at the Knoxville Raceway last night. Moyer took home $7,000 for his efforts and put himself in contention to win his second nationals title. Brandon Shepherd, Josh Richards, Shane Clanton, and Jimmy Mars completed the top five. Tonight’s second night will be just like the first and the top point getter of all 68 cars that have entered will start on the pole of tomorrow night’s championship race.
