Pella Christian’s girls finished fourth and the boys were fifth yesterday at the Johnston Invitational.
The girls placed four runners in the top 30, led by Annaliese Admirral’s 23rd place finish.
The boys were running without Samuel Dahm, who was out due to illness. Even without him, three Eagles finished in the top 20 and earned a medal – led by Grant Dunsbergen in 6th place.
Coach Jocelyn Meinders says that the heat definitely impacted times last night, which were slower than usual, but she was overall pleased with her teams’ performances.
