Pella Christian went 5-0 at the North Mahaska tournament on Saturday, and in the process, earned Coach John Evenhouse his 500th Iowa high school victory.
The Eagles beat Lynnville-Sully, WACO, H-L-V, North Mahaska and Grinnell, and all matches were 2-0 scores.
Bekah Horstman had 47 kills and hit .587 on the day. Mady Zula had 35 kills and hit .517, and Hannah Vos had 98 assists.
The Eagles are 11-7 on the season and will play at Indianola in Little Hawkeye Conference action on Tuesday.
