Pleasantville Schools
The Pleasantville bond issue has officially passed by two yes votes according to Marion County Auditor Jake Grandia.
The bond issue required 60% of the vote to pass and at current totals it has 60.13%. $6,355,000 in general obligation bonds will be issued for construction of 10 new elementary classrooms, structural updates and a cafeteria. Pleasantville Superintendent Tony Aylsworth says he is impressed with the support the community has shown for education. The Board of Supervisors confirmed the total this morning.
