After taking care of the Rockets of Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont in week one to start their 2016 campaign, the Pleasantville Trojans now find themselves opening their home field to a class 2A opponent, the Big Reds of Centerville.
The Trojans found plenty of success on the ground in week 1 with three separate rushers getting over 74 yards, but junior quarterback Owen Worthington also showed his chops in the passing game with 166 yards and a touchdown. Head Coach Gabe Bakker told KNIA/KRLS Sports that winning a football game can have more impact than just on the field, and his players are well aware of that.
