After taking care of the Rockets of Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont in week one to start their 2016 campaign, the Pleasantville Trojans now find themselves opening their home field to a class 2A opponent, the Big Reds of Centerville.
The Trojans found plenty of success on the ground in week 1 with three separate rushers getting over 74 yards, but junior quarterback Owen Worthington also showed his chops in the passing game with 166 yards and a touchdown. Head Coach Gabe Bakker told KNIA/KRLS Sports that winning a football game can have more impact than just on the field, and his players are well aware of that. The Trojans vs the Big Reds will be broadcast live on KNIAKRLS.com via the KNIA3 Stream, with Andrew Swadner and Ron Danks on the call.
