Coming out of non-conference play at 1-1, the Simpson Storm Football Team has a tough opponent on their hands as they travel to Dubuque this afternoon to start Iowa Conference play against the Spartans.
The Storm have had to make changes on both offense and defense due to injuries, most notably with quarterback Caleb Frye exiting the game last week and backup quarterback Sam Sasso leading the Storm to a late victory over Illinois College. Storm running back Jordan Beem has been as dependable as ever despite not reaching the 100 yard plateau last week, and the Storm will need every bit of their senior ball-carrier against the powerful Spartans.
