The Pleasantville Volleyball team will get back to action tonight as they travel to Leon Iowa to take on the Cardinals of Central Decatur.
The Trojans who are in search of their second win of the season are heading into tonight’s match up with the Cardinals after a week of rest since their last match up against Wayne on September 13th. For the Trojans a win would mean equaling their win total from a year ago and hopefully set this Trojan team up for possible more wins in the rest of the 2016 season. The Trojans are a young team with only one Senior on the squad so getting to two wins or more on the season would be a great accomplishment and show this Pleasantville program is headed in the right direction. The week off before tonight’s contest allowed the Trojans to regroup as a team and work on certain things like team building and mental toughness. Head Coach Jennifer Douma knows this year has been tough but also know this team is young and to rebuild a program and get the Trojans turned in the right direction it will definitely take some team building and mental toughness going forward. The Trojans and Cardinals will square off tonight in the Central Decatur gym at 7:30 pm.
