Nominations will be accepted for the next Tulip Queen and Royal Court in one week.
Amy Van Haaften with the Tulip Time Steering Committee tells KNIA/KRLS News girls turning 17 by May 1st, 2017 living within the Pella School district’s borders are eligible.
“The girls are ambassadors for Pella,” she says. “They represent the community, they put together a program and travel around Iowa, and promote Tulip Time.”
Ballot boxes will be located at the Pella HyVee, Pella Fareway, Marion County Bank, and Pella Historical Society, beginning September 14th. Nominations should include the name and address of both the nominee and nominator.
