The Central College soccer teams swept Nebraska Wesleyan yesterday in Pella, with both teams winning by identical 3-2 scores.

The Dutch women needed overtime after letting a 2-nil lead slip away, getting a golden goal from Olivia Denham to pull out the win.

It was their first match after having their 10-match winning streak snapped over the weekend, and the victory improves Central to 11-2-1 overall and 3-1 in the Iowa Conference.

The Dutch men also built a 2-0 lead, but after the Prairie Wolves cut the lead in half, Central quickly responded to get in front 3-1 and held on to win by one.

Ian Meentemeyer had a hand in all three Dutch tallies, with one goal and two assists. Central improves to 9-4 overall and 3-1 in the Iowa Conference.
