Coming off the program’s most successful season on the mat in over 20 years, the Central College wrestling team is slotted at number seven in the National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III preseason rankings.

Four Dutch wrestlers are in the top 10 in their weight class, including last year’s national runner-up at 125 pounds, C.J. Pestano, who is ranked second. 2015 All-American and 2016 national qualifier Matt Seabold is fourth at 197.

Iowa Conference foe Wartburg is preseason number one as a team.

The Dutch open the season November fifth at the Pioneer Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
