Knoxville jumped out to a 9-0 lead in the first six minutes of the game, but could not sustain the momentum as the Panthers fells to Bondurant-Farrar last night 28-12 as heard live on AM 1320 and 95.3 KNIA. The Panthers put two points on the board on the third play of the game as Titius Chapman buried the Bluejays quarterback in the end zone for an early 2-0 lead. A few minutes later Chapman dove in from three yards out to score a touchdown and the Panthers up by nine. But a Bluejay pick-six turned the game around the Bondurant-Farrar eventually took the lead at the half 15-9. Knoxville Coach Eric Kellar told KNIA/KRLS the defense played much better but with a couple of players down with injury it put a lot of pressure on the offense. Jacob Zuck led the Panthers with 84 yards on 29 carries. The Panthers Trent Davis went down with an apparent knee injury. No word on if he will be available next week when the Panthers travel to Grinnell to wrap up the season.
