David Kacmarynski was stellar in his return following a seven-quarter absence during Pella Christian’s 65-14 blowout of Woodward Academy last night, as heard live on kniakrls.com.

The senior star — sidelined due to a controversial targeting flag against I-35, was responsible for six total touchdowns, including two caught by Levi Jungling and Caleb Roose apiece.

Assistant Coach Brad Jungling says it’s was encouraging to see the team in a rhythm with their leader from the beginning of the contest.

“It was good to have David out here again, he picked up right where he left off, he played very sharp and ran the ball well tonight,” he says.

Connor Dunsbergen had a fumble return for a TD, the Eagles had three other turnovers on top of that score, and they blocked two punts, including a safety by Eddie Pringle.

Pella Christian is 6-0 and faces Pleasantville in a potential District championship game next week on Eagle Lane.
