Running against some of the South Central Conference teams they will go up against next week at the conference meet, the Knoxville cross country squads while not running the times they wanted placed well against S-C-C teams. The girls placed seventh overall second behind Albia in the conference. Mickayla McGill led the Panthers with a 21st place finish. The boys placed fifth overall ahead of all conference teams in attendance. Freshman Jordan Bacon was the Panthers leader placing 23rd. Twin Cedars was also at the meet. Both Saber boys and girls did not have enough runners to score, however leading the girls was Kaylee Bruns, who finished 79th while Hunter Swope led the boys with a 33rd place finish.
