A goal of sweeping the South Central Conference championships is the goal for both of the Knoxville Cross Country Squads today in Centerville. The Panther girls are there to defend their crown won last year. Coach Michael Splavec says the girls will have to run in a pack and try to break up Albia and Davis County’s teams for a shot. On the boys side, confidence is high for a title run. Splavec says that is a credit to the three seniors for their leadership this season. Splavec says the boys just need to run at their potential and they should be able to be atop the podium tonight. Action gets underway at 4:30 in Centerville.
