The Knoxville Public Library is holding a celebration of Iowa Governor and Knoxville Native William Milo Stone’s birthday October 15.

The celebration will feature a civil war program presented by Humanities Iowa Speaker and civil war reenactor OJ Fargo. Birthday cake and lemonade will conclude the event, which begins at 1 p.m. in the library meeting room.
