The Knoxville School Board will share it’s thoughts on education policy at the upcoming Iowa Association of School Boards Fall Convention.

The convention will be attended by Board Member Larissa Van Donselaar according to Superintendent Cassi Pearson. The meeting allows schools from around the state to coordinate on policy positions.Pearson says the importance of extending the penny sales tax and supplemental state aid funding amounts are two of the issues the IASB would like to present a united front on. The convention also includes days of meetings for school board presidents and work sessions aimed at improving school board policy. The meeting will convene in Des Moines, November 16.
