For the first time this season…the Knoxville Volleyball Squad swept an opponent in a heads up dual match as the Panthers took care of Clarke in three sets 25/23…25/13…and 25/15. The first set was a bit adventurous as the Panthers got down early 15/11 but refocused and went on an eight-to-three run to take back control and close out the set. Coach Mollie Keitges told KNIA/KRLS after her girls realized what Clarke was trying to do…they were more comfortable the remainder of the match. Katie Keitges had 21 assists and ten digs…Peyton McMurray had an all-around match getting three kills…and going ten-for-ten serving with aces…Cassidy Pearson had 21 digs and Nikki Cunningham came up with seven digs. The Panthers travel to Winterset on Thursday.
