Marion County Law Enforcement’s drug take back programs have met with success.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office drug take-back at the Law Enforcement Center collected 19 pounds of old prescription drugs over the weekend and the Pella Police Department managed about 60 pounds. Sheriff Jason Sandholdt says he is pleased to see the community take advantage of the program, as it helps keep drugs off the streets and out of the hands of addicts.
