Two-time state qualifier Grant Dunsbergen has high hopes when he makes the trip to Fort Dodge and the state cross country meet Saturday.

The senior finished in 67th place last year, but finds himself ranked 18th heading into Saturday’s 2A race.

Head Coach Jocelyn Meinders says Dunsbergen is hoping for the best race of his career to finish his time as an Eagle.

“This week of training has been really working on the aspects of his race that we needed to work on,” she says.

Grant will run at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Fort Dodge. Tune in Saturday to KNIA/KRLS to hear live reports from the state cross country meet.
