Pella scored two touchdowns in the first 51 seconds last night at Nevada, and clubbed the Cubs 52-0 to wrap up their fourth consecutive undefeated regular season.

Nick Finney scored those two early TDs on a 12-yard run and a 40-yard interception return. He’d later add a six-yard trek to the end zone, and he finished the game with 9 rushes for 52 yards and the two scores, plus 12-of-17 passing for 221 yards and a touchdown.

Sam Warner had a big day receiving, nabbing four screen passes for 148 yards and two touchdowns, and he added four rushes for 28 yards and a short score.

Pella’s defense was also impressive, limiting Nevada to just 126 yards of total offense. It was the fifth shutout in the last six games for the Little Dutch.

They’re 9-0 on the season and champions of class 3-A district 6. They’ll get to host a playoff game next Friday night as they open defense of their back-to-back state championships.
