After drawing Madrid in the first round of postseason play coming up this Friday, the Trojans know that the key to this game will be their defense stepping up and making big plays against a relentless Tigers offense.

The Tigers average over 48 points per game, and have been consistently ranked in the top ten all season long, and have only suffered one blemish on their record, a loss last week to fellow top ranked Van Meter. The Trojan defense however has pitched two shutouts, and only give up under 14 points a game, with 56 given up against Pella Christian being an outlier.

Head Coach Gabe Bakker said that no matter who they are playing, it will be preparation that will give the edge. Pleasantville vs. Madrid can be heard live this Friday on KNIAKRLS.com via the KNIA3 stream.
