Moving up to class 1A, everyone who follows Pleasantville Trojan Football knew there would be bigger tests for the team week in and week out as bigger schools were now on the schedule.

The Trojans have mainly passed those tests, as they bring an undefeated record now to their biggest test of the season yet; #2 ranked Pella Christian. The road trip to the Tulip City will not be a long one, but the Trojans will have to somehow try and contain an Eagle offense that has been averaging 58 points per game and a winning margin of 51 points per game. Good news for Pleasantville, they have a strong senior-laden defense that has given up just 41 points all season. Head Coach Gabe Bakker said one of the issues with the Eagles is just how deep of a team they are. No matter what the outcome, the Trojans know that they will discover a lot about where their team stands as they try to make it to the class 1A playoffs.
